Building a career in AI, put to a hall of Bidayuh graduates
Dr Chai Kok Chin speaking at the Thriving Amid AI Disruption Forum in Kuching, organised jointly by the Dayak Bidayuh National Association and the Sarawak Bidayuh Graduates Association. His talk was titled “Building a Career in AI and Nurturing Sarawak’s Tech Ecosystem”, and the argument he made to reporters afterwards was about export rather than adoption: that Sarawak should be sending technology out rather than importing it, which is also the only real answer to the brain drain. “It’s not just about local use,” he said. “It’s about connecting globally.” He was reported in The Borneo Post the next day.
